Author Talk with Claudia Smith Brinson In-Person
Join us at the Main Library for a special author event with award-winning journalist Claudia Smith Brinson, focused on her recent book Injustice in Focus: The Civil Rights Photography of Cecil Williams. Co-written with Cecil Williams, Injustice in Focus honors Cecil's powerful life story and photojournalism during the Civil Rights era and documents the Civil Rights activism of the 1940s through the 1960s in South Carolina. Hear from Claudia and Cecil, see examples of Cecil's photography, and ask questions. Injustice in Focus: The Civil Rights Photography of Cecil Williams will be available for purchase after the program.
