Living Room Conversations - Media and Polarization In-Person
Living Room Conversations is a conversational model developed by dialogue experts in order to facilitate connection between people despite their differences, and even identify areas of common ground and shared understanding. Participants will be divided in small groups of 4/6 persons and will talk about a specific topic. The topic this month is "Media and Polarization."
Media and Polarization: How does the media impact you, your friends, and your family? In this conversation we explore how politics has become “not to be discussed”. What happens in our relationships as a result of having specialized media sources and a lack of common understanding? In this conversation we also explore what type of political climate we aspire to, so we can begin to envision it together.
